Workshop for journalists: Investigative journalism on issues regarding the efficiency of public money use and the implementation of the Court of Accounts recommendations
The Court of Accounts of Moldova, the Institute for Public Policy and the Center for Investigative Journalism held on Wednesday, February 27th, a workshop for journalists interested in covering the issues regarding how efficient the public money is used. The workshop aimed to train journalists to understand how the Court of Accounts works, what are the key elements of an audit, and the best methods for investigative reporting. This workshop is a part of the IPP project - “The Court of Accounts’ Recommendations: Advocacy for Transparent and Efficient Use of Public Money”.

Council of Experts Meeting - August 13th, 2012
The Moldovan Council of Experts held its third meeting in 2012 on August 13th. The expert discussed the latest developments regarding the Transnistrian conflict settlement process: - the change of leadership in Tiraspol; - high level official meetings between the leadership in Chisinau and the leadership in Tiraspol; - the results of the 5+2 rounds of negotiations since their restart in autumn 2011.
